Oceangrove is a senior living village developed by Dee Why RSL Club (DYRSL). With a strong local focus, the development demanded first-class living for the local community.

In addition to the usual range of requirements for a senior living facility, the structural engineering also involved a significant challenge. The building is constructed in water-charged land and included basement car parking.

CRC developed a raft foundation solution that in effect floats the building in the ground water. This simplified construction and reduced costs. The cost savings meant that the project could proceed, and funds could be spent on the specialised features of the building.
